11 Best Bluetooth Audio Transmitters for TV in (2021)

If you happen to be looking for the best Bluetooth audio transmitter money can buy, look no further. We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of some of our favorite picks on the market.

In this Bluetooth transmitters review, we’ve taken into account signal strength, audio quality, latency and all the other important factors that you should strongly consider before you splash out on what you consider to be the best Bluetooth transmitter for a TV.

Editor’s Quick note: Our review guide to choosing the “Best Bluetooth Audio Transmitters for TV” was updated on May 18, 2021.

What is a Bluetooth audio transmitter?

A Bluetooth audio transmitter is a tool that can take a signal from an audio device and transmit it wirelessly. They’re convenient if you have a television or gaming console that doesn’t have integrated Bluetooth functionality. They’re also among one of the cheaper ways to go about setting up wireless headphones in your house.

Transmitters simply transmit the signal – they don’t require you to buy an accompanying pair of headphones. This means that if you already own a pair of Bluetooth headphones, odds are they’ll be compatible.

If you’re having connecting issues with your existing headphones, check out our guide to how to connect wireless headphones to any TV.

Top 11 Best Bluetooth Audio Transmitters for TV

1 – Avantree Oasis Plus For TV / Home Cinema / Headphones

Avantree’s Oasis Plus is compatible with almost all TVs, and it is very easy to use thanks to the intuitive touchscreen.

close up view of the Avantree Oasis Plus Bluetooth TV audio Transmitter-black

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Lower Latency Support: aptx low latency (requires compatible headset)
  • Range: 295ft
  • Compatibility: Digital Optical / RCA / AUX
  • Power Source: Mains Operated
  • Price: Under $80, although prices vary on Amazon (buy link) – Checked May 18, 2021.

Our take: You can use this Bluetooth transmitter with just about any sound system and TV. Unlike many others, such as the TaoTronics and MPOW, this one works with AUX outputs and digital and RCA. The range is almost three times that of the 1Mii transmitter below, and it is also well above every other option we have looked at here.

The Avantree Oasis Plus was our number one contender out of all of the Bluetooth transmitters we reviewed. It’s highly optimized in terms of compatibility – with support for connecting to more than 90% of the TVs on the market.

It also has support for aptx low latency enabled headphones. This will allow even the most sensitive users to effectively eliminate any problems they’re experiencing with latency ruining their viewing experience.

The Avantree Oasis Plus also allows you to stream audio to both your headphones AND soundbar simultaneously. The Bluetooth bypass function allows family members to gain independent volume control over their headphones instead of the speaker.

These receivers and transmitters are not just a Bluetooth transmitter. Whilst it’s capable of taking a non-Bluetooth audio source and transmitting it, it can also relay existing Bluetooth signals across a wider area. Increasing your connectivity and range with devices throughout the house.

The touchscreen and voice prompt round this product off nicely, making it incredibly easy to use for people of all ages.

Pros

  • Easy To Use
  • Excellent Range, if line-of-sight
  • Low Latency Support
  • Voted one of the Best Bluetooth Transmitter for TV use
  • No lag

Cons

  • Can be difficult to set up

Our Rating:

8.6 / 10

2 – Mii B03 Long Range Transmitter And Bluetooth Receiver For TV / Home Cinema / In Car Headphone Usage

This long-range transmitter supports multiple headsets and is very low latency.

This is an image of the 1Mii B03 Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver for TV in black color

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Lower Latency Support: aptx low latency (requires compatible headset)
  • Range: 230ft outdoors/110ft indoors
  • Compatibility: Digital Optical / Analog/ AUX
  • Power Source: Mains Operated
  • Price: Under $60, although prices vary on Amazon (buy link) – May 18, 2021.

Our take: This is one of the best Bluetooth transmitters if you are looking to eliminate lip-sync delays. It can certainly outperform the Mpow transmitter in that respect. It is second only to the Avantree Oasis Plus in terms of range.

The Mii B03 is another excellent choice for anyone wanting Bluetooth transmitters for tv use. This type has great compatibility, excellent range and a diverse array of features and functionality.

It has full support for the aptX low latency codec. This codec allows you to eliminate lip-sync delays that are common with lower quality and higher latency transceivers. Multiple antennae are present on this device to ensure you get uninterrupted audio from any room in your house.

If you already have other Bluetooth devices and you’re simply looking to provide a boost to their total range, the B03 allows you to receive and amplify an existing signal. There’s also solid variety in the number of audio outputs you can connect to if you’re connecting via a wired connection.

Bypass functionality is available too, which allows you to provide a wired connection between two sources – meaning you only have to flick a button to begin transmitting an audio source. This saves you a lot of time that would be otherwise spent plugging and unplugging your device in and out. This also helps you preserve the integrity of your various cables/jacks by not constantly being forced to manhandle them.

Multiple headset support is available, too – meaning you can enjoy a movie in silence with your partner/family if you’re up late and unable to make noise.

Pros

  • Multiple Headset Support
  • Low Latency
  • Bypass Mode
  • No lag
  • Very long range
  • Good connectivity options
  • Easy to use

Cons

  • Range is greatly reduced by obstacles such as walls
  • Doesn’t have a remote control

Our Rating:

8.4 / 10

This transmitter is one of the best in terms of lip sync – you won’t notice any audio lag at all.

3 – TaoTronics Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter and Receiver

image of a black Bluetooth TV Transmitter BY TaoTronics

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Low Latency Support: Yes (Doesn’t Support Dual Link)
  • Range: 33ft
  • Compatibility: AUX / 3.5mm Jack
  • Power Source: Battery Life – 10 Hours
  • Price: Under $35, although prices vary on Amazon (buy link) – Checked May 18, 2021.

Our take: This is slightly different from our previous two picks, as it works off batteries rather than the mains power supply. However, if this is one of the main reasons for your purchase, you might prefer to consider something like the Elegiant transmitter, as this gives over double the battery life.

If you’re looking for a Bluetooth transmitter-receiver that’s small, portable and battery-operated, then you should keep this model in mind. This little transmitter packs a compact battery that can provide you with up to 10 hours of active usage. It can also be used whilst charging, which is handy if you’re planning on using it for long road trips.

The transmitter mode will allow you to plug into basically any audio output with a 3.5mm jack present. It will then allow you to convert any of these devices into one that’s fully Bluetooth enabled. This includes CD players, mp3 players, iPods and older phones without Bluetooth support.

Receiver mode will allow you to receive and subsequently convert Bluetooth signals into conventional wired outputs. This means you’ll be able to transmit audio from newer cell phones into devices with no apparent Bluetooth input available. You can connect to a Nintendo Switch, an Xbox One (through the controllers audio jack) or any device that’s hooked up to a TV with Bluetooth or an older sound system.

This little device ships with high-quality audio codec support to ensure you don’t experience any loss of quality during use.

As this device is designed to be mobile and fairly portable, it doesn’t have the greatest range. You can expect a range of up to 33ft, perfect for smaller living accommodations and in-car use. Unfortunately, if you’re planning on using it in a larger facility, you’re going to run into interference issues.

Pros

  • Highly Portable
  • Battery Operated
  • High-Quality Audio
  • Good price
  • Works with most devices, including games consoles
  • Small and compact
  • Quick and easy to pair

Cons

  • Battery life isn’t great compared to other models
  • Range isn’t huge

Our Rating:

8.6 / 10

4 – Mpow Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter Receiver

close-up image of the Mpow Bluetooth TV Transmitter Receiver- BLACK

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Low Latency Support: Yes (Doesn’t Support Dual Link)
  • Range: 50ft
  • Compatibility: AUX / 3.5mm Jack
  • Power Source: Battery Life – 14 Hours
  • Price: Under $30, although prices vary on Amazon (buy link) – May 18, 2021.

Our take: This is another great choice for anyone looking for a portable Bluetooth transmitter and receiver. Unlike the previous Taotronics portable receiver, this device actually has a slightly better range and battery life, although it comes at a similarly low price.

You can enjoy an extra 4 hours of use without access to a charger, and you can also expect to get roughly another 20ft of range out of this device. This may not be absolutely necessary – especially if you’re planning on using this for travel in a vehicle. But it’s still a really nice feature to have, as it gives you more maneuverability in how you choose to go about using the product.

It has full compatibility with all auxiliary outputs. But unlike the Avantree Oasis, the compatibility ends there. Don’t expect to be hooking this up to more complex sound systems that utilize optical or other digital cables. Most TV sound systems use AUX anyway – so you shouldn’t experience issues on this front.

Dual-link functionality is present. But don’t expect to be able to make full use of the aptX low latency lip-sync delay codec when generating Bluetooth audio for multiple audio output sources. You can also potentially expect a dip in battery life when using this device.

HD audio quality is pretty much the norm for devices in this price range, and there’s no deviation from the norm with this model. You can also easily switch the device between audio receiver and audio transmitter mode.

The biggest upside to this product is the price by far. You’re not shelling out a great deal of money in return for a big feature list and impressive stats.

Pros

  • Easy To Use
  • Solid Battery Life
  • Competitively Priced
  • Doesn’t take up much space
  • Great quality sound
  • Easy to pair with other devices
  • Low latency

Cons

  • Takes a while to charge
  • Sound is a bit low
  • Feels slightly cheap

Our Rating:

8.6 / 10

5 – ELEGIANT 5.0 with Bluetooth Audio Adapter

This is an image of a black Bluetooth Audio Transmitter for TV by ELEGIANT

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Low Latency Support: Yes
  • Range: 65ft
  • Compatibility: AUX / 3.5mm Jack
  • Power Source: Battery Life – 24 Hours
  • Price: Under $50, although prices vary on Amazon (buy link) – Checked May 18, 2021.

Our take: Like the 1Mii B03, this model gives minimal lag so that you won’t notice any lip-sync issues. It has a much longer battery life than the Mpow or TaoTronics transmitters we have looked at above – around double, in fact. Unfortunately, unlike the Avantree Oasis, which was awarded our top spot, this one can only connect via AUX.

One of the most obvious perks of this portable adapter is the beautiful and informative display/interface. It shows you all of the information you need to know about your device’s audio settings via a black case with blue LED backlighting. You can quickly ascertain whether your adapter is set to transmitter mode or receiver mode, along with which audio preset you’ve enabled (aptx/HD etc.)

Full high definition low latency support is present. Meaning you don’t need to compromise on audio quality to get lip sync delay-free audio.

It appears you can also make use of this feature across multiple devices, which sets this adapter apart from the other portable options on the market. Just make sure your wireless headphones, stereo system or other audio output source is compatible.

Another impressive feature of this device is its battery life and how quickly it charges. You can expect to get a full 24 hours of active usage after just two and a half hours of charge time.

If you’re looking to make hands free calls with your adapter, this has a built-in microphone with full support. This was the first product with this feature we found out of the numerous Bluetooth transmitters we reviewed.

Pros

  • Quick Charge, or charge directly from the TV USB port
  • Built-In Microphone
  • Informative Display
  • Relatively compact
  • Easy to set up
  • Bargain price
  • Compatible with older systems

Cons

  • No display
  • Can only transmit to up to two devices

Our Rating:

8.4 / 10

6 – ZIIDOO Bluetooth Wireless Audio Transmitter and Receiver

close-up image of the ZIIDOO Bluetooth Transmitter for TV in black color

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Low Latency Support: No
  • Range: 15ft
  • Compatibility: AUX / 3.5mm Jack
  • Power Source: Battery Life – 6 Hours
  • Price: Under $20, although prices vary on Amazon (buy link) – Checked May 18, 2021.

Our take: In terms of price, it is difficult to beat this model – it costs around a quarter of our most expensive option. However, you get what you pay for. It has a minimal range – less than a tenth of those with the longest range (the 1Mii and Avantree). And, the battery life is 4 times shorter than the Elegiant transmitter we looked at above.

Ziidoo’s model is a decent portable Bluetooth adapter for TV’s and anyone shopping around for a cheaper option. It’s not the best Bluetooth transmitter on the market, but it’s respectably priced and gets the job done.

Its range and battery life are relatively limited, but again, if you’re only planning on using this in one room/vehicle, then you’re unlikely to encounter any issues with it. It DOES have a built-in microphone – which is not as common in cheaper Bluetooth transmitters.

You can prolong the battery life indefinitely by hooking it up to USB power – meaning you won’t have to worry about it dying on you any time soon as long as you have a reliable power supply.

It’s just as adaptable as the other higher priced models on the market – with full support for any auxiliary audio source. It’s pretty easy to switch between transmitter and receiver modes, too – with just the flick of a button.

If you’re planning on purchasing an adapter for a fancy, high-quality TV home entertainment system, we recommend steering clear of this model. The Oasis Plus is probably better suited for this function. This device lacks APTX HD audio support. So you’re going to experience lip-sync delay. It also only outputs sound in MONO too – which can ruin a viewing experience.

But if you’re just looking for something cheap and reliable for your car stereo system, this is definitely worth considering. This is probably why it’s so highly rated on Amazon.

Pros

  • Very Cheap
  • Built-In Microphone
  • Good Customer Service
  • Easy to connect straight from the box
  • Great value for money
  • Automatically connects when devices are in range

Cons

  • Short battery life
  • Minimal range

Our Rating:

7.8 / 10

7 – Avantree Audikast Plus Bluetooth Receiver & Transmitter For TV / Home Cinema / Headphone Usage

close up view of the Avantree Audikast Plus Bluetooth Transmitter for TV- black

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Low Latency Support: Yes
  • Range: 100ft
  • Compatibility: Optical, AUX, RCA, USB
  • Power Source: Mains
  • Price: Under $60, although prices vary on Amazon (buy link) – Checked May 18, 2021.

Our take: This variant is slightly cheaper and slightly different to Avantrees’ other model, the Oasis Plus. Unlike the Oasis Plus, this is a little bit more compact, although it still has a great range of compatibility for various audio output sources.

The above fact alone means it’s still an ideal choice for a huge variety of different devices. Including for use with a TV/home theater system.

When it comes to range, it’s pretty hard to beat Avantree. There’s no visible antenna present on this device – they’re all internal. Despite this, it still has an incredibly impressive range of up to 100ft. This is more than enough for most setups.

aptx HD low latency support is present too, which is always a plus for anyone interested in gaming or home cinema.

The user interface is sleek but still highly informative with a blue LED backlighted display. This might not be as technically impressive as some of the LCD screens you can find on pricier models, but it still relays all of the important information to you without much confusion.

The front-facing portion of the device is devoted to two large, easily accessible volume control buttons. These can be handy for configuring your audio output if you happen to experience a lot of interference with your audio devices.

Pros

  • Friendly Interface
  • Ridiculously Good Range
  • Highly Compatible
  • Easy to pair to all headphones
  • Many connectivity options

Cons

  • It can only be paired to two pairs of headphones – if you connect another, the first one will be ‘forgotten’
  • Interference is possible when connecting via AUX

Our Rating:

8.6 / 10

8 – Anker Soundsync A3341 Bluetooth Receiver / Bluetooth Transmitter For Home TV / Headphone Systems

image of the Anker Soundsync Bluetooth TV Transmitter-BLACK

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Lower Latency Support: Yes, Aptx HD compatible
  • Range: 33ft
  • Compatibility: AUX/RCA/Optical
  • Power Source: Up to 20 Hours
  • Price: Under $40, although prices vary on Amazon (buy link) – Checked May 18, 2021.

Our take: As far as portable transmitters go, the battery life is excellent on this model. It’s double that of the TaoTronics transmitter and over three times that of the Ziidoo. It has a similar range to other portable transmitters, including the TaoTronics, and is double that of the Ziidoo.

The Anker Soundsync is a portable-only Bluetooth audio receiver/transmitter. This means that it’s not really designed to be used in charge mode for extended periods of time. You can utilize the device in this manner if you want, but the user manual strongly recommends against it. This is because you’ll begin to damage the overall battery life over time if you keep using it in this manner.

This isn’t too much of a huge inconvenience, though. When being used as a Bluetooth receiver, you can expect about 17.5 hours of active use before you need to think about charging. If you’re only using this as a Bluetooth transmitter, you can expect a total of about 20 hours of use. All in all, this is a pretty solid battery life for the price range this device exists in.

2 hours is the maximum amount of time it should take to charge the high quality, Li-Polymer battery. So you’re unlikely to be inconvenienced by charge times.

It makes full use of aptx lip sync latency protection, meaning you won’t have to worry about your video and audio failing to match up. Even a few hundred milliseconds of latency can be enough to completely dissuade users from using other products – which is why this is a solid choice.

It also has support for auxiliary audio input as well as RCA and optical cables. Making it one of the best Bluetooth transmitter choices for someone operating a TV/home theaters system on a budget.

The compact, stylish design is a plus too. It’s big enough to be interfaced with easily without being so large that it gets in the way or sticks out and ruins a room’s aesthetic.

The only aspect of this device that could do with some improvement is the range. The 33ft maximum range leaves a lot to be desired, especially when other competitors such as Avantree can manufacture a Bluetooth transmitter capable of spanning distances up to 295ft.

Pros

  • Great Cost To Benefit Ratio
  • Sleek, Stylish Design
  • Compatible With All Home TV / Audio Systems
  • Can connect to two devices at the same time
  • Excellent audio quality
  • No issues with lip sync delays

Cons

  • Can be a bit difficult to set up
  • Cheap build quality

Our Rating:

8.6 / 10

9 – JEOEUS Bluetooth Receiver / Bluetooth Transmitter

This is an image of a black Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver for TV by JEOEUS

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Lower Latency Support: Yes
  • Range: 20ft
  • Compatibility: AUX/RCA/Optical
  • Power Source: 7-8 Hours
  • Price: Under $30, although prices vary on Amazon (buy link) – Checked May 18, 2021.

Our take:

This is one of the more ideal Bluetooth transmitter options available for someone on a severely restrictive budget. It’s among the cheapest we’ve reviewed, but it’s certainly among the best Bluetooth devices that exists in its very low price range.

It’s important to note; it still has a higher level of adaptability than some of the more expensive portable transmitters. The Taotronics Bluetooth transmitter is considerably more expensive but is only compatible with auxiliary inputs. In contrast, this device has full support for aux, as well as RCA and optical cables.

Word of warning, though, corners always have to be cut when manufacturing products as cheap as this. As such, the native optical cables provided with this device have relatively cheap connectors – be wary of using them too harshly as you’re likely to experience breakages.

JEOSEUS have their own novel solution to low latency. It’s not quite APTX – but some effort has been extended to ensure that you don’t experience any audio lag when you’re watching on your TV. This is obviously an unimportant issue if you’re only interested in using this as a car kit. Which most buyers often are.

Pros

  • Cheap
  • Novel Low Latency Solution
  • Great For TV/In Car Use
  • Devices remain paired after each use
  • No audio lag
  • Small and easy to store

Cons

  • Limited range
  • Can be a bit difficult to pair initially

Our Rating:

7.2 / 10

10 – Mpow Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter Receiver For TV / In Car Use

close-up image of the Mpow Bluetooth Audio TV Transmitter-black

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Lower Latency Support: Yes
  • Range: 50ft
  • Compatibility: AUX
  • Power Source: Battery Operated – 12 Hours
  • Price: Under $30, although prices vary on Amazon (buy link) – Checked May 18, 2021.

Our take: This device is mid-range in terms of price and also falls in the middle of the scale when it comes to features. With a range of 50 feet, it’s considerably more than the likes of the Ziidoo, but also a lot less than our number one pick. Similarly, the battery life is around half of the Elegiant, but double that of the Ziidoo.

If you’re still scoping out budget options, but you’re looking for a slightly better range and battery life, this could be the choice for you.

The MPOW Bluetooth audio transmitter for TV offers about 12 hours of active usage. Even when utilizing the dual-link feature to transmit digital audio to multiple Bluetooth headphones at once. It’s exclusively AUX operated – meaning you’ll be able to use it for your car stereo, making phone calls or watching TV at home. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to connect it to RCA or Optical inputs – so that may disqualify some speaker systems.

You’ll need to use a separate mic when using the receiver mode to make calls. This is because there’s no native mic support.

HD and DAC encoding tech are present, meaning you’re going to be able to enjoy better-than-cd audio without tinkering with your set-up for hours. Just make sure your tv/headphones are compatible with this before making a purchase.

As you’d expect, the audio adapter receiver/transmitter functions cannot be operated simultaneously. So if you’re looking to connect to multiple devices – you might need to double up on your purchase. Luckily this isn’t an expensive venture because of the low unit price.

Pros

  • HD Digital Audio Support
  • Cheap
  • Great For TV/Car Use
  • Small – can fit anywhere
  • Reasonable range
  • Minimal lag
  • Good sound quality

Cons

  • Battery life isn’t great
  • No warning when the battery is getting low

Our Rating:

8.6/ 10

11 – Avantree Oasis B Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter / Receiver for TV, Home Stereo & Car Speakers

image of the Avantree Oasis B Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver for TV in white color

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Lower Latency Support: Yes
  • Range: 164ft
  • Compatibility: AUX/RCA/Optical
  • Power Source: Mains
  • Price: Under $60, although prices vary on Amazon (buy link) – Checked May 18, 2021.

Our take: This is another great buy from Avantree. It offers lots of connectivity options, just like our number one pick from the same brand. The range is longer than most of the transmitters we have looked at here, although it is around half of our favorite Avantree.

This is the only mains operated budget buy we’ve included in our list. This is largely because most of the mains operated budget projects aren’t really worth the time of day. This is definitely a notable exception to that rule.

The presence of an antenna makes for awesome range, granting you a total of up to 164ft (barring large obstructions, of course).

A bypass function is also present, meaning you can hook this up between your primary audio source (such as a soundbar or surround sound system) and simply flick a button whenever you wish to begin using your Bluetooth headphones.

As you’d probably expect from Avantree Bluetooth tv transmitters, full support for aux, RCA, and optical inputs means that you’re unlikely to face any compatibility issues.

Latency reduction is absolutely present, making it ideal for use with TV. You shouldn’t use these for audio production, though. Modern frame rates on tv mean that latency reduction for movies is a lot easier than it is with a live instrument. If you’re looking to produce music from home, you will need a powerful external sound card to cope with the latency.

This device comes with a choice of color scheme, which was a cool customization option we didn’t see many other brands offering. Currently, it can be purchased in either gray or white, meaning you can pick whatever looks best with your current set up.

Pros

  • Solid Range
  • Highly Compatible
  • Great For TV/Car Use
  • Can play sound through headphones and TV speakers at the same time
  • Good value for money
  • Small – doesn’t look unsightly
  • Includes all cables and attachments you’ll need
  • Able to pair to two devices at the same time

Cons

  • Only remembers the one most recently paired device
  • Doesn’t come with a remote control

Our Rating:

8.6 / 10

Finding The Best Bluetooth Transmitters – A Guide

Finding the best Bluetooth audio receiver, Bluetooth FM transmitter (or both) can be a little bit of a challenge. There are hundreds of products out there on the market. All of them offer a wide variety of functionality, and many can be pretty competitively priced. If you’re looking to decide on your own, you should be aware of some of the key features to look out for in a good transmitter. You should also be willing to ask yourself a few important questions before hitting the “buy” button. These questions are as follows:

What Bluetooth version is my device? (Bluetooth 4.0 or Bluetooth 5.0)

This is one of the first things you should keep an eye out for when shopping around for an audio device. Bluetooth 5.0 offers less latency and lower battery consumption than the older Bluetooth 4.0 variant. That doesn’t mean you should discredit older models, though – if you’ve got a reliable power source and don’t want to fork out too much cash, 4.0 can still be a good choice.

What Am I Using My Transmitter/Receiver for?

Planning on using your tv Bluetooth transmitter for an expensive, high-quality home entertainment system? You should be willing to spend a little bit more money. More expensive models, such as the Oasis Plus, offer a massive range of benefits for home entertainment, such as removing lip-sync audio delay and independent volume control for multiple users. Be on the lookout for “aptx HD functionality” when shopping.

Anyone who’s planning on using their transmitter for a TV should be prepared to spend a little more for peace of mind.

If you’re just looking for something to hook up to your car stereo or cheap home stereo, then you’re not going to require much of this functionality. As such, it might be more cost-effective to purchase a smaller, more portable transmitter to hook up to your audio input.

Do I Need Voice Control?

If you’re planning on making phone calls and want to make use of Bluetooth headphones you already own, you should investigate and see if they have an in-built microphone. If they don’t, you might want to consider purchasing a Bluetooth audio receiver with an integrated microphone. These microphones will also allow you to make use of voice guidance or voice search functions.

What Are My Audio Output Standards?

If you’re planning on using your adapter for sound production – or you simply consider yourself a bit of an audiophile, you’re going to have higher standards. Low latency support is vital for someone operating audio equipment or anyone big on TV entertainment. HD digital audio, in general, is also massively important for anyone who cares about getting a crisp sound from their speaker system or headphones.

Beware of devices that output in MONO. This removes the “3d” effect from audio sources. It can kill your ability to produce quality sounds.

Ease Of Use/Accessibility Settings

If you suffer from any kind of impairment, you should always remember to pay attention to accessibility settings. Voice control, a clear LCD and other similar ease of use functions can make a world of difference to anyone who normally struggles to interface with technology.
